Midwest Trauma Treatment Center
Midwest Trauma Treatment Center grew out of an awareness of the need for training opportunities afforded to mental health professionals specializing in the treatment of
traumatized individuals.
The mission of the Midwest Trauma Treatment Center is to provide training and services to promote and spread evidenced based treatments, and promising practices to professionals.
Since July, 2006 we have trained over 150 clinicians in the Kansas City Metro area in these evidence based practices. In addition to the training 6 months of follow-up consultation has been provided to ensure use and fidelity to the model.

Midwest Trauma Treatment Center in collaboration with Sheffield Place has been accepted into the National Child Traumatic Stress Networks Learning Community for Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma.
